At the time of this writing there is evidently a huge party going on in the permanent portion of the park. It is 10 pm, loud music, and no sign of the party abating. There is no staff on duty to deal with it. We need to be up at 4:30 am so my wife can catch a flight. There is no hope of sleep. This is probably the worst park we have camped in.

We stumbled onto this park because it was in the right location for an overnight stay and discovered one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. The pink sand dunes and cliff are fantastic. The park is spotless and all sites are pull-throughs. We even rearranged our schedule to stay an extra night and would love to come back for more hikes in the dunes.

If this were $20 a night it might be barely acceptable. At $32 it is a rip off as it is badly in need of paint, gravel, and cleaning. It is full of trashy trailers, dead cars and rusting unused trailers. The road is paved but the sites are plain dirt. It is too bad because the setting is beautiful, nestled in Oak tress on a creek. At one time it must have been one of KOA's flagship parks.

This is a very nice, quiet park with gravel roads and sites. It is nothing fancy but the kind of place we enjoy and is not a paved parking lot park. Every site is surrounded by oak and pine trees. There is a nice pool (open in the summer), fishing pond (catch and release) and picnic area. The entire park is on a side of a hill and the spaces with sloped "front yards" have a private small deck with picnic tables.

What a treasure. We stumbled onto this state park because we needed somewhere on the way to Mt. Rainier and saw it on the map. It is a beautiful park with wonderful sites surrounded by huge trees. If we had time we would have loved to stay a month!

This is our second visit and it is one of the few parks that I have rated a perfect 10. It is spotless, paved roads and pads, lush green grass, friendly staff. I dislike most 5 star resorts because they seem antiseptic and sterile. While there are not a lot of trees, this park manages to feel warm and inviting.

We were killing time before moving to our next major stay and found this park. It was quiet and very nice. It wasn't a fancy resort but we prefer more rustic places where we enjoy sitting outside and enjoying the scenery. I would guess that in busy times it could be noisy but for the most part would be enjoyable.

Many things were very nice: staff was helpful, pool was well heated, there were beautiful flowers everywhere. But both my wife and I felt the park was quite run down. here were many older rundown rigs. The pool was heated but had many patches and in obvious need of an overhaul. Had we been paying $20 a night it may have been a bargain, but at $38 a night it is very overpriced.

We picked this spot as a layover on the way to another place. We knew nothing about it and just loved it. It's on several small lakes used to supply San Diego water. Our site was very roomy, and the trailer was within 10 feet of the water. If it were not so expensive would like to come make for a month or more.

This is one of the nicest parks we have stayed in. A lot of green grass, nice space between sites, and a helpful staff. It is expensive but it is in the San Diego area so guess you have to expect that. You do get some freeway noise if you are near the front but it is quiet in the back. Our rate was low because we were here to meet our Caravan that is going into Mexico so it was a group rate.

This is a small park that is immaculately maintained. We stay here every year when heading South and love it. It is very quiet. The town is quaint.

Not fancy but a great place for visiting San Francisco or nearby cities. Near the freeway so there is some noise but it is not objectionable. I don't understand the comments about the neighborhood--it may not be fancy but certainly OK. This is our four or fifth stay here as we have relatives in San Francisco. We will continue to stop here when in the area.

I almost hate to review this for fear that more people will discover it! No full hook-ups but other than that you would think you were in the middle of the desert. A wonderful campground.

Another one of those campgrounds I almost hate to review because it is our favorite spot. The first year we stayed two nights; the second year a week; and this year we will be there for a month. If you get one of the the sites around the edge of the full hook-ups you will face the desert and feel you are all alone in the middle of desert. And once you hike up Palm Canyon and get so close to the Bighorn Sheep that you can almost touch them you will be hooked. This is a special, magical place.
